Elsrickle

What we are doing

We are taking care of the water services in Elsrickle, by upgrading the water pipes to ensure our customers continue to enjoy clear, fresh drinking water, and reduce the chance of pipes bursting. 

There will be some roadworks during these works, this will include the use of temporary traffic lights, with some access and parking restrictions.

Road closures will also be required as the project progresses, this however will not take place until 2022, details of these closures will be update as the work advances.

When are we doing it

From Monday 14th June 2021 work to replace the water main, will start on A721, and will move, on a rolling programme into Carnwath Road, Mill Road, and Walston Road, before completing the works on Oggscastle Road.

This work is expected to be completed within approximately 62 weeks.

Our Alliance Partner Caledonia Water Alliance will be carrying out this work on our behalf.
